Cabochard by Grès is a “Eau de Toilette“ for women included in the aromatic citrus family. It is a perfume whose inspiration was born in India, during one of the trips of Madame Grès, the founder of the firm. She was so fascinated by its landscapes and aromas that she decided to capture them in her new creation, and so Cabochard was born.
This fragrance was launched in 1959 by the perfumer Bernard Chant. It is an intense and revolutionary aroma in its time, as it includes among its notes, masculine aromas and practically unusual in the female field of perfumery. However, it reflects sophistication and elegance, and depicts a woman fleeing from the ordinary to enter an unexplored world.
Its olfactory pyramid combines and intermingles hundreds of aromas from the eastern continent, spicy, fruity, aromatic and floral notes, in combination with citrus fruits and even tobacco and leather. An unthinkable fusion that creates a unique, indescribable and unmistakable ending.
YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER. This perfume today, responds to a more classic style, given its longevity. However, this is not a dusty floral classic, but rather a modernized classic.

To prolong the scent longer, apply your fragrance to your wrists and behind the earlobe. These areas pulse having a temperature above the rest of the body, and this will help the fragrance to evaporate slower. I use 'cabotine' daily from the same perfumer. A few years ago, while reading the description of the cabochard notes, I wanted to try it! Gorgeous ! Shot of ❤️. Thank you perfume's club for mentioning the head notes, heart notes... of all the perfumes, this allowed me to discover this fabulous cabochon! It looks a lot like Montana's 'skin perfume' which I also use, but which is more expensive! These are perfumes that could be mixed. Obviously they hold up well without being overpowering, what a pleasure for my nostrils and those who benefit from them!
Amazing. At first it seems intense but then comes a sweet and soft fragrance giving a wonderful feeling of freshness. And it lasts a long time. I highly recommend it.
The box arrived crushed by the 1-liter bottle of Aloe Vera and did not bring the gift bag in the photo, which is essential for a gift, so do not put it and thus do not confuse.
The bottle is simple and elegant, it looks like a tuxedo. I did not like the fragrance at all. It's dizzying, and it seems that I'm in the times of fagot. The comments I received when I put it on were negative and on top of that a lot remains. I wouldn't buy it again.
I have been using this perfume since I was 15 years old, 32 years ago, an incomparable aroma is wonderful.
