Both corrective and aesthetic orthodontic appliances can cause discomfort and even small injuries to the mouth due to rubbing in one of its areas. Especially during the first days of treatment or in any of the periodic adjustments.

KIN protective wax is applied directly to the orthodontics in those areas that cause discomfort, covering possible edges or wires. In this way, it helps to avoid chafing on the inside of the cheeks and lips, on the gums or on the tongue. If the wire breaks, use the protective wax for orthodontics and go to the specialist.

After performing daily oral hygiene, you should:

  1. Dry the area as well as possible before placing the wax.
  2. Break off a piece of wax about the size of a pea and make a ball with your fingers to facilitate placement.
