It is a foundation that works with children with childhood cancer and their families who are undergoing cancer treatment in the hospital . Since its foundation in 2001 by Paco Arango, they have not stopped fighting so that no sick child or family ever loses their smile or the desire to fight. They take care of them from the moment they arrive at the hospital and so that in their day to day they know that they are not alone and feel their support.
Currently around 1,500 sick minors in Spain are the ones who benefit each year in the 20 hospitals where they collaborate .
How do they do that?
Through a complete comprehensive support program based on three fundamental axes: emotional, psychological and material, they ensure that both minors and their families never lose hope, joy or the desire to fight.

Childhood cancer is a disease considered "rare" and stands as the cause of greatest mortality among children between the ages of 5 and 14, and the second among young people between 15 and 24 years, behind the accidents.

What do we raise the money for? Therapy for children with dogs.
The children and adolescents who are cared for by Fundación Aladina really enjoy the company and games with the dogs. The affection of animals is very special, they also help them improve their communication skills.
You don't know what a fuss the hospital gets when the furry friends arrive! The Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid and the Virgen del Rocio in Seville are the first two centers where they began to carry out these therapies with dogs in collaboration with the Blue Dogs Association. From January 2022 they began to provide these therapies also to children in palliative care at the Niño Jesús Hospital in Madrid.
It is one of the activities that children look forward to the most!
The money raised will go entirely to be able to maintain these canine therapies and get them to reach more hospitals in its network. Therefore, that more children benefit from the positive power of animals.
